After the Golden Fleece is placed on Thalia's Pine Tree, it heals Thalia Grace's spirit within and ejects her, resurrecting the demigod. Percy Jackson realizes that Kronos and Luke Castellan had orchestrated Thalia's resurrection in order to have another chance at controlling the Great Prophecy.

The Titan's Curse

Thalia's resurrection is mentioned several times with Luke and Kronos attempting to use the Titan Lord's role in orchestrating it to help manipulate Thalia to his side.

The Battle of the Labyrinth

Nico di Angelo plots to bring back his sister by trading the soul of Daedalus for her to Hades. Unbeknownst to Nico, King Minos, who is helping him, is actually plotting to betray Nico and use Daedalus to secure his own resurrection instead. After learning the truth, Nico banishes Minos back to the Underworld and changes his mind about trading Daedalus for Bianca even when given the opportunity by Daedalus himself.

The Sword of Hades

Persephone reveals that as Hades' Sword has the Keys of Hades incorporated into it, the wielder can raise the dead. Later, while passing through the Fields of Punishment, Percy, Nico and Thalia talk with Sisyphus who mentions his own resurrections.

The Last Olympian

In a vision witnessed by Nico di Angelo and Percy Jackson, Hades considers resurrecting Maria di Angelo after she's killed by Zeus, but Alecto convinces him otherwise as Hades of all immortals must respect the laws of death.

Between the Series

After Gaea opens the Doors of Death and chains down Thanatos, Nico di Angelo searches the Underworld for his sister in the hopes of using the opportunity to resurrect her. However, she has already chosen rebirth. Instead, Nico finds the spirit of his half-sister Hazel Levesque and resurrects her using the Doors of Death instead.

The Heroes of Olympus

The Lost Hero

Due to Gaea's use the Doors of Death, Jason Grace, Piper McLean and Leo Valdez face a resurrected Medea, King Midas and Lityerses as well as quickly reforming monsters. After Medea dies when Piper blows up her mall, Aphrodite warns Piper that she will quickly return due to the Doors of Death being open. In addition, Midas is killed for a second time by his own victims after they are brought back from their golden forms, including his resurrected daughter Zoe.

After seeing Hera's divine form, Jason dies, but Piper is able to charmspeak him back to life due to the Doors of Death being open and Thanatos being chained down.

The Son of Neptune

Percy Jackson has to deal with the constantly reforming Gorgons on his way to Camp Jupiter.

After being murdered during the Roman War Games, Gwendolyn suddenly returns to life after finding an exit from the Underworld due to the Doors of Death being open. Mars subsequently reveals the source of all of these resurrections and issues Frank Zhang, Hazel Levesque and Percy a quest to free Thanatos. During their quest, the trio encounter the resurrected Phineas and Otrera. When Phineas is tricked into drinking the vial of poison Gorgon Blood, he states that it will do enough damage to prevent even him from coming back for awhile. Otrera constantly returns to challenge Hylla Ramírez-Arellano to a duel for leadership of the Amazons, resurrecting each day for another fight in which Hylla will inevitably be worn down and killed.

After Thanatos is set free, he is able to stop monsters from instantly reforming and intends to hunt down the escaped souls for Hades and Pluto but he leaves Hazel alone as she is not on his list. He also doesn't reap the souls of those who died during the Battle of New Rome and came back, suggesting that Pluto chose to ignore their resurrections. In addition, Kinzie reveals to Percy that Hylla was forced to fight Otrera to the death twice, winning both times, before Thanatos' release stopped Otrera from being resurrected a third time.

The Mark of Athena

While searching for Celestial Bronze for the Argo II, Leo Valdez and Hazel Levesque encounter Echo and Narcissus who were both resurrected by the Doors of Death.

The House of Hades

Percy and Annabeth learn that Gaea has been able to resurrect all of the Gigantes that the Seven have killed so far using the Doors of Death. However, the Seven manage to close the Doors of Death, preventing Gaea from being able to resurrect anyone else again.

The Blood of Olympus

After learning from Nike that one of them will die defeating Gaea, the Seven seek out the Physician's Cure as a way of resurrecting whoever will fall. While making the Physician's Cure for them, Asclepius mentions his previous resurrection of Hippolytus with it and the troubles that it had caused.

Apollo reveals that the reason that the power of prophecy is no longer working is because Gaea had resurrected Python who has retaken Delphi.

After Leo Valdez is killed defeating Gaea, Festus resurrects him using the Physician's Cure.

Carter and Sadie Kane initally believe that their father's motivation for hosting Osiris is to use the god's power to resurrect their mother. However, this proves to be an incorrect assumption.

After dying of Akhenaton's Curse, Walt Stone is resurrected when he becomes the permanent host of Anubis. However, his resurrection is dependent upon Anubis remaining in his body rather than being cured of his curse.

The Dark Prophecy

After meeting the resurrected Lityerses, Apollo remembers Hades complaining about Gaea stealing all of his dead people to work for her during the Second Giant War.

The Burning Maze

Apollo, Grover Underwood and Gleeson Hedge fight Naevius Sutorius Macro who was resurrected by Caligula similar to how Nero called back to life his Germani followers. Apollo accidentally kills Marco when he inadvertently causes Marco's automatons to self-destruct.

Medea is revealed to have been resurrected again, having escaped through the Doors of Death as Aphrodite had predicted before they were closed. In addition, Medea has managed to resurrect the faded Titan Helios in her efforts to make Caligula the new sun god. Medea is killed for a second time by Piper McLean while Apollo convinces Helios to fade once again.

The Tower of Nero

While talking to Apollo about the death of Jason Grace, Nico di Angelo mentions that when he found Hazel in the Fields of Asphodel, he could sense that she didn't belong there and that she needed to return to life. With Jason, Nico senses that he is at peace and that trying to resurrect Jason would only dishonor his sacrifice, particularly as Nico senses that Jason is somewhere better now.

The Sun and the Star: A Nico di Angelo Adventure

While crossing the Underworld on the way to Tartarus, Nico tries to recall what Hades had warned him about Menoetes during the same visit that Nico resurrected Hazel in.

While sharing stories with Gorgyra, Nico mentions Leo Valdez's death and resurrection.

The Court of the Dead

After meeting Yazan and Savannah, Nico complains that Leo Valdez doesn't tell his friends when he comes back from the dead, horrifying Yazan that Leo is dead. Nico quickly clarifies that Leo is still very much alive and changes the subject.

Sikander Aziz uses the Tablet of Destinies to resurrect his brother Mo, but this alters destiny so that they are the adopted children of Ishtar instead.

Upon getting the tablet, Lugal uses it to resurrect his mother Tiamat, causing all of creation to start unraveling before the goddess rises again.

After the tablet is wiped clean, Mo's resurrection is reversed, but Sik manages to bring him back once again, this time permanently, by writing "my brother lives" on the tablet before it sets.
