Resurrection is when a deceased person is brought back to life without rebirth, but by going back through the Doors of Death or by other means.

The Sea of Monsters

After the Golden Fleece is placed on Thalia's Pine Tree, it heals Thalia Grace's spirit within and ejects her, resurrecting the demigod. Percy Jackson realizes that Kronos and Luke Castellan had orchestrated Thalia's resurrection in order to have another chance at controlling the Great Prophecy.

The Titan's Curse

Thalia's resurrection is mentioned several times with Luke and Kronos attempting to use the Titan Lord's role in orchestrating it to help manipulate Thalia to his side.

The Battle of the Labyrinth

Nico di Angelo plots to bring back his sister by trading the soul of Daedalus for her to Hades. Unbeknownst to Nico, King Minos, who is helping him, is actually plotting to betray Nico and use Daedalus to secure his own resurrection instead. After learning the truth, Nico banishes Minos back to the Underworld and changes his mind about trading Daedalus for Bianca even when given the opportunity by Daedalus himself.

The Sword of Hades

Persephone reveals that as Hades' Sword has the Keys of Hades incorporated into it, the wielder can raise the dead. Later, while passing through the Fields of Punishment, Percy, Nico and Thalia talk with Sisyphus who mentions his own resurrections.

The Last Olympian

In a vision witnessed by Nico di Angelo and Percy Jackson, Hades considers resurrecting Maria di Angelo after she's killed by Zeus, but Alecto convinces him otherwise as Hades of all immortals must respect the laws of death.

Between the Series

After Gaea opens the Doors of Death and chains down Thanatos, Nico di Angelo searches the Underworld for his sister in the hopes of using the opportunity to resurrect her. However, she has already chosen rebirth. Instead, Nico finds the spirit of his half-sister Hazel Levesque and resurrects her using the Doors of Death instead.

The Heroes of Olympus

The Lost Hero

Due to Gaea's use the Doors of Death, Jason Grace, Piper McLean and Leo Valdez face a resurrected Medea, King Midas and Lityerses as well as quickly reforming monsters. After Medea dies when Piper blows up her mall, Aphrodite warns Piper that she will quickly return due to the Doors of Death being open. In addition, Midas is killed for a second time by his own victims after they are brought back from their golden forms, including his resurrected daughter Zoe.

After seeing Hera's divine form, Jason dies, but Piper is able to charmspeak him back to life due to the Doors of Death being open and Thanatos being chained down.

The Son of Neptune

Percy Jackson has to deal with the constantly reforming Gorgons on his way to Camp Jupiter.

After being murdered during the Roman War Games, Gwendolyn suddenly returns to life after finding an exit from the Underworld due to the Doors of Death being open. Mars subsequently reveals the source of all of these resurrections and issues Frank Zhang, Hazel Levesque and Percy a quest to free Thanatos. During their quest, the trio encounter the resurrected Phineas and Otrera. When Phineas is tricked into drinking the vial of poison Gorgon Blood, he states that it will do enough damage to prevent even him from coming back for awhile. Otrera constantly returns to challenge Hylla Ramírez-Arellano to a duel for leadership of the Amazons, resurrecting each day for another fight in which Hylla will inevitably be worn down and killed.

After Thanatos is set free, he is able to stop monsters from instantly reforming and intends to hunt down the escaped souls for Hades and Pluto but he leaves Hazel alone as she is not on his list. He also doesn't reap the souls of those who died during the Battle of New Rome and came back, suggesting that Pluto chose to ignore their resurrections. In addition, Kinzie reveals to Percy that Hylla was forced to fight Otrera to the death twice, winning both times, before Thanatos' release stopped Otrera from being resurrected a third time.

The Mark of Athena

While searching for Celestial Bronze for the Argo II, Leo Valdez and Hazel Levesque encounter Echo and Narcissus who were both resurrected by the Doors of Death.

The House of Hades

Percy and Annabeth learn that Gaea has been able to resurrect all of the Gigantes that the Seven have killed so far using the Doors of Death. However, the Seven manage to close the Doors of Death, preventing Gaea from being able to resurrect anyone else again.

The Blood of Olympus

After learning from Nike that one of them will die defeating Gaea, the Seven seek out the Physician's Cure as a way of resurrecting whoever will fall. While making the Physician's Cure for them, Asclepius mentions his previous resurrection of Hippolytus with it and the troubles that it had caused.

Apollo reveals that the reason that the power of prophecy is no longer working is because Gaea had resurrected Python who has retaken Delphi.

After Leo Valdez is killed defeating Gaea, Festus resurrects him using the Physician's Cure.

After encountering Nero's Germani servants, Apollo realizes that they are from ancient times and Nero explains that souls always escape from Erebos and that as a god-emperor, it is easy for him to call back to life people who had worshipped him.

The Dark Prophecy

After meeting the resurrected Lityerses, Apollo remembers Hades complaining about Gaea stealing all of his dead people to work for her during the Second Giant War.

The Burning Maze

Apollo, Grover Underwood and Gleeson Hedge fight Naevius Sutorius Macro who was resurrected by Caligula similar to how Nero called back to life his Germani followers. Apollo accidentally kills Marco when he inadvertently causes Marco's automatons to self-destruct.

Medea is revealed to have been resurrected again, having escaped through the Doors of Death as Aphrodite had predicted before they were closed. In addition, Medea has managed to resurrect the faded Titan Helios in her efforts to make Caligula the new sun god. Medea is killed for a second time by Piper McLean while Apollo convinces Helios to fade once again.

The Tower of Nero

While talking to Apollo about the death of Jason Grace, Nico di Angelo mentions that when he found Hazel in the Fields of Asphodel, he could sense that she didn't belong there and that she needed to return to life. With Jason, Nico senses that he is at peace and that trying to resurrect Jason would only dishonor his sacrifice, particularly as Nico senses that Jason is somewhere better now.

After the tablet is wiped clean, Mo's resurrection is reversed, but Sik manages to bring him back once again, this time permanently, by writing "my brother lives" on the tablet before it sets.

Known Resurrected Beings

Sisyphus (deceased) - In order to cheat death after Thanatos got free from being chained up, Sisyphus had his wife perform incorrect funeral rites so that he wouldn't rest in peace and then tricked Persephone into sending him back to the living world to haunt his wife. Sisyphus was able to remain alive for thirty years before he was tracked down and taken for punishment in the Underworld.
Hippolytus (deceased) - Resurrected by Asclepius using the Physician's Cure at the request of Artemis. Once again deceased.
Alcyoneus (reforming) - Raised by Hazel Levesque using her curse under the influence of Gaea. After Hazel sacrificed herself to stop it, his resurrection was delayed until the 1980s. Killed by Hazel with the help of Frank Zhang and Arion.
Thalia Grace - Thalia was killed defending Luke Castellan and Annabeth Chase from monsters sent by Hades to hunt her down. As she died, Zeus took pity on his daughter and transformed her into a pine tree. Years later, she was resurrected after the Golden Fleece was laid on the tree to heal it with the side effect that it also healed Thalia and ejected her from the tree.
Hazel Levesque - Hazel died in 1942, sacrificing herself to save the world from the rise of Gigantes. Decades later, Nico di Angelo resurrected her using the Doors of Death after finding Hazel's soul drifting in the Fields of Asphodel.
Porphyrion (reforming) - Raised by Gaea by draining and using the powers of Hera. Killed and returned to Tartarus by Jason Grace and Zeus.
Jason Grace (deceased or reborn) - After he died due to seeing Hera's divine form, Piper McLean was able to charmspeak him back to life due to the Doors of Death being open and Thanatos being chained. Killed again by Caligula.
King Midas (deceased) - Resurrected by Gaea using the Doors of Death. Killed again by his own released victims.
Lityerses - Resurrected by Gaea using the Doors of Death.
Zoe - Resurrected by Gaea using the Doors of Death.
Medea (deceased) - Resurrected by Gaea using the Doors of Death, but perished when her mall was destroyed by Piper McLean. Resurrected a second time before the Doors of Death were closed before being killed once again by Piper.
Gwendolyn - Murdered during Roman war games, possibly by Octavian. However, due to the Doors of Death being open and Thanatos being chained up, she found an exit from the Underworld and returned to her body.
Phineas (deceased) - Resurrected by Gaea using the Doors of Death. Deceased again after drinking poisonous Gorgon Blood.
Otrera (deceased) - Resurrected by Gaea multiple times using the Doors of Death and killed by Hylla Ramírez-Arellano. Remained dead after Thanatos was released.

Helios (faded) - Resurrected by Medea using magic after he had faded millennia before. After Medea's death, was convinced by Apollo to fade once again.
Hattie Oh - Resurrected after the defeat of the Cave Bear Goddess.
Mohammed Aziz - Resurrected by Sikander Aziz with the Tablet of Destinies, by altering destiny so that Sik and Mo are Ishtar's adopted children instead. After the tablet is wiped clean, Sik is able to use it to properly resurrect his brother by writing on it "my brother lives."

Persephone - As Hades' wife and the queen of the Underworld, she has the ability to resurrect the dead. She was tricked by Sisyphus into resurrecting him.
Hades - As the Lord of the Underworld, Hades has the power to resurrect the dead if he so chooses.
Gale - Using alchemy, Gale was able to resurrect a dead girl with her potions which she was a human witch.
Asclepius - Able to resurrect the dead with the Physician's Cure, causing Zeus to restrict his movements after he becomes a god.
Hazel Levesque - Forced by Gaea to use her curse to help raise Alcyoneus.
Kronos and Luke Castellan - Manipulated the demigods of Camp Half-Blood into resurrecting Thalia Grace as part of their plans.

Julius Kane/Osiris - As the Egyptian god of the dead, Osiris has the ability to resurrect anyone that he pleases. As the Eye of Osiris, Julius also has this ability.
Nero - As a god-emperor, Nero has a limited power of resurrection, able to call his followers back from the dead to serve him once again aided by their souls escaping from Erebos.
Caligula - As a god-emperor, Caligula has a limited power of resurrection, able to call his followers back from the dead to serve him once again aided by their souls escaping from Erebos.
Medea - Resurrected the faded Titan Helios in order to use him to make Caligula the new sun god.
Sikander Aziz - Resurrected his brother using the Tablet of Destinies.

Methods

Innate Power - Some gods, typically the ones with power over the dead, have the innate power to resurrect the dead.
Hazel's Curse - Due to Alcyoneus' body being made up of precious metals, Gaea was able to use Hazel's curse to raise her son by having Hazel summon precious metal to build him a new body. When Hazel collapsed the island upon which the resurrection was taking place, it only delayed the giant's return for a few decades.
Golden Fleece - When placed upon Thalia's Pine Tree, it was able to heal the spirit of Thalia Grace within and eject her, resurrecting Thalia.
Soul Trading- Both Nico di Angelo and King Minos plotted to trade the living soul of Daedalus for a resurrection from Hades.
Keys of Hades - Capable of releasing a soul from the Underworld back to life.
- Hades' Sword - Made with one of the Keys of Hades and thus also possesses this power.
Doors of Death - The personal gateway of the god of Death Thanatos, a soul passing through the Doors of Death from the Underworld or Tartarus to the mortal world is resurrected. This was used many times by Gaea during the Second Titan War to resurrect both her followers and deceased demigods loyal to her. As long as the Doors of Death are held open and Thanatos is chained, a recently deceased spirit is able to escape from the Underworld and return to their body and life.
Immortal Power Draining - By draining Hera's powers, Gaea was able to raise Porphyrion.
Physician's Cure - A potion created by Asclepius that is capable of raising the recently deceased. As punishment for bringing back Hippolytus at the request of Artemis, Asclepius was struck down by Zeus leading to conflict with Apollo before a bargain was struck to make him a god of medicine. After learning of the Physician's Cure from Nike, Leo Valdez had Festus use it to resurrect him from his death while defeating Gaea.
Becoming a host - By becoming the host to the spirit of Anubis, Walt Stone was resurrected. However, this method of resurrection does not cure him of the curse that had killed Walt, leaving him dependent upon his hosting of Anubis in order to stay alive.
Becoming an Einherjar - Norse heroes who have died with great bravery on Earth can be resurrected as einherjar, soldiers in Odin's eternal army for Ragnarök.
Sorcery - The powerful sorceress Medea was able to summon the Titan Helios back from having faded.
Alchemy - Gale was able to resurrect the dead using her potions when she was a human witch.
Tablet of Destinies - Can be used to alter destiny and bring someone who has died back to life.

Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters

After being killed by the Manticore, Annabeth Chase is resurrected when Percy Jackson wraps her in the Golden Fleece. Later, Thalia Grace is resurrected when the Golden Fleece is placed upon her pine tree.

Trivia

Of all of the named characters who have been resurrected, only Thalia Grace, Hazel Levesque, Lityerses, Gwendolyn, Echo, Narcissus, Leo Valdez and Walt Stone are known to still be alive. Others such as Zoe and Pasiphaë are likely still alive, but it is unknown for sure as Zoe was only seen once while being released from her father turning her to gold and Pasiphaë was last seen being dropped down a bottomless pit by Hazel.
Despite Thanatos stating in The Son of Neptune that he was going to be hunting down the souls who had escaped from the Underworld and were resurrected, at the very least Lityerses and Medea were able to avoid this fate while Pluto is suggested to have chosen to ignore the resurrections of Gwendolyn and the other members of the Twelfth Legion Fulminata who died in the Battle of New Rome and came back before Thanatos was freed. In addition, one of Percy's suggestions upon meeting Carter Kane in The Son of Sobek is that he is a spirit that had escaped from the Underworld while the Doors of Death were open, suggesting that more resurrected souls may in fact still be out there and still have not been taken care of by Thanatos.
Hazel Levesque and Nico di Angelo refer to Hazel's resurrection several times as her having been given a second life rather than Hazel having been restored to life.
In The Son of Neptune, Hazel suggests to Percy that if she corrects her mistakes, namely helping Gaea to raise Alcyoneus, she'll get rejudged and maybe get into Elysium rather than simply being automatically returned to the Fields of Asphodel once her second life is over. At this point, Hazel hadn't been resurrected for more than a few months and was expecting to die again soon when Thanatos was released. This suggests that a resurrected person gets a second trial before the judges of the Underworld where their fate after death can be changed based upon their actions while alive once again.
